4075 Fluted Box Newel. This box newel post is 3-1/2" square x 58" height with 3 flutes on each side. Made with lock miter corners, so no edge grain shows. Now available in primed with stainable cap and trim. If ordering the primed with stainable cap and trim please designate species of wood for cap and trim in the "Comment" section of our check-out page. This box newel comes standard with a square cap; however, we can manufacture this with a pyramid cap for an additional $25.00. Please call to order box newel with pyramid caps. This box newel looks great combined with the larger 4091 Fluted Box Newel and the 5360 Fluted Wood Baluster or any combination of our Iron Balusters. If you need help picking out an iron baluster pattern, be sure and try out our Stair Builder program which allows you to "drag-and-drop" balusters to get an idea of how they will look in combination with each other. This box newel is manufactured using lock-miter joints which is the best way due to the strength and lack of any side grain showing on the edge of the newel post. Made in the U.S.A.
