We now have handrail in the 9100 profile which is IBC Code compliant for Type I handrails.
Please, keep in mind that certain Narrow line profiles will not accommodate a 1 ¾” square top baluster. However, all profiles will accommodate both 1 ¼” and 1 ¾” tapered top balusters.
Our handrails are used in Craftsman and Contemporary Style installations and to cap iron handrails (except the 6109, 6040, and 6042). The 6109, 6040, and 6042 profiles have been designed for ease of grasp ability in mind; for instance in an eldercare setting. Of particular interest to the eldercare design community is the full line of fittings which complement the 6040 and 6042 profiles. This assortment of fittings will produce continuous handrail installations in virtually any configuration.
Shoe Rail and Filet Profiles are used on rake walls to mount balusters cut to fit the rake of your balustrade. Fillet is then used to “fill” the opening in the shoe rail between the balusters. Shoe rail and filet is offered in two different styles. Each style comes in two sizes; one to accommodate 1 ¼” square balusters, the second to accommodate 1 ¾” square balusters. |
